Back in 2018, I was working on figuring out what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. At college, I decided to try out desktop game development, declared my major as computer science, and never looked back. Fast-forward to today, and I've had the opportunity of developing software for a large-scale corporation, educational platforms and my own start-up.

I'm a meticulous frontend software engineer with a love for making UIs accessible for people with disabilities and non-English speakers. I have experience working on and owning design systems from inception, and I'm happiest on the job when I contribute to building out modern and intuitive digital experiences. At work, I'm an expert of building end-to-end applications using React, setting best practices for topics like using hooks and state management for other frontend developers. When developing personal projects, my framework of choice is usually the full-stack solution—Next.js.

When I'm not busy coding, you'll find me nurturing my garden with plants and flowers from my beloved family homeland—Sicily—or whipping up delicious food in the kitchen. I find solace in the simple joys of life, surrounded by my cherished family and my loveable dog Princess BumiPrincess Bumi.
